Update

Saturday, July 10, 2010 § 4

Hey friends! I'm currently in Nantucket with my cousin. I'll be here until July 17, but I probably won't be posting until after July 20. Please bear with me, it's summer haha. I have A TON to tell you guys about. For now, I'll leave you with a poem.

Untitled
As my chance run out
I am left with nothing
So upset
Control the anger
Keep it hidden
Don't let anyone see the shaking hands, or the death glare
Don't let them know you are not cared about
That you don't matter
Smile
Head high
Confident step
You can break down later in the comfort of loneliness

Signing off,
Sophia

  • This is a great poem and I can really relate to it these days. Sometimes it is best to just hide your frustration and anger and keep your head held high...

Have fun on your vacation!! :)

So interesting. I'm reading another book on female psychology and I've just started a chapter on the teenage girl's brain, how hormones and the genetic blueprint factor in. And while a bit sad, this poem is "OMG" so typical of what girls your age go through.

I don't make light of it, but I think you and I can probably both agree that these feelings don't always last long right?

Anyway I hope you're well in Nantucket Sohia, and that we can chat soon. :)
